The year 1984 saw the beginning of SUMMIT Corporation in Sri Lanka as a computer training facility, which specialized in training youth in the usage of computers in preparation to handle the challenges of an emerging market.

Soon the company expanded into areas of programming and assembly of quality computer systems at affordable prices and also held the agency for the world's second most popular brand of computers "Everex" and "Franklin" covering India, Bangladesh, Maldives, and Sri Lanka.

In the year 1987 operations were shifted to the USA for technical advancement and recommenced business as a US based company in the year 1988 in Beverly Hills.

Over a period of 18 years SUMMIT has custom designed high performance systems for Litton Guidance, Michael Jackson Productions, Universal Studios, Hughes Aircraft, NASA, Lockheed, ABL Aerospace Corporation, First Interstate Bank, Penthouse Magazine and many other satisfied customers who have provided written testimony to the quality and service of SUMMIT.

SUMMIT Corporation's existence over 18 years in the industry and its experience in providing solutions to the Defence Industry, Paperless Office Environs, Entertainment Industry to meet their high end performance needs, Bar Code Reading and POS Systems Design for home based businesses to franchise chains and its long standing association as business partners for IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and other leading brands has built an unshakable reputation for its name brand SUMMIT Systems.
